A critical battle in what is now an international war on terror was won on the 12/08/2016 in #Manbij Syria by a force comprised mostly of Kurds. This operation was named in honour of the great commander and martyr Abu Leyla. Despite the supreme efforts of the Kurds culminating in Manbij this war and the repercussions are very far from over. That is no reflection on the Kurds but every reflection on what they’re surrounded by.
